On the left is the lobby of the theater. The color scheme is a deco meets industrial look. We choose the colors silver, red and black to decorate the entire space. The walls are a hand painted collage of several Hirschfeld works entitled ’Broadway Opening Night’. Doug did the drawings with silver pen and it took him over 30 hours to complete. We always hear an audible gasp from people who step into the lobby for the first time - The walls are quite the conversation piece. The bench lids lift up for extra storage and the rug is something we stumbled on at a local hardware store. It was being discontinued so we got it at a great price. A perfect example of ‘right place, right time’. |

On the right is a look at some of the seating. The photo is taken from the stage. The theater is set up ‘horseshoe style.’ The stage is at one end of the space and the audience wraps around the stage in a horseshoe and rises up 3 rows. The upper area in the photo is the area we lovingly call ’the mezzanine’. You will notice the Rockwell influence also bleeds into the theater. At the top of the photo you will notice Broadway Show Posters. The entire theater is framed in these posters. We have posters from the turn of the century through today. The seating isn’t your basic folding chair. We wanted a wide seat chair that was padded and had a low back. Comfort was very important when we designed the space. |

The stage is EXTREMELY versatile as illustrated by several sets listed above. On the far left is the Church Loft from QUEEN OF BINGO. The center photo is from our production of THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH, and the set on the left is Oscar Madison’s Living room from THE ODD COUPLE. |
