Our six week Saturday workshops are designed to get the child OUT OF THE CHAIR and ON THE STAGE.  We believe that children learn more about acting by DOING not SITTING.  We get the kids on stage day one and we don’t stop for six weeks.  We have two different types of Saturday workshops.  Details can be found below.  Our philosophy:  “Sitting in a corner is perfect for a potted plant, not an actor.”

Now that we have the new OFF BROADWAY THEATER we have implemented a NEW type of workshop. . .

          Introducing our new

                                                                                          Workshops:

                                                                                                                    Six rehearsals / Six shows!

We have spoken to many of our students and parents during the past few months and we have learned a few things.

FIRST:  60% of the kids who do our workshops return 2 and 3 times a year.

SECOND:  The parents love the convenience of the SATURDAY ONLY rehearsals.

THIRD:  When you sign up your child, they are automatically in the show. . .No auditioning

FOURTH:  As our workshop kids get older, they are looking for more of a challenge, something more reminiscent of a REAL SHOW schedule.  So,

This NEW workshop format will meet for 6

Saturday’s, 3 hours each Saturday, and perform for the public 6 times. . . 6 for 6!

Of course, the kids will also meet Monday and Tuesday, (following the final Saturday),  from 4 to 7 p.m. for final dress rehearsals with sets, costumes, lights, etc.,

Performance days and times will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. - 6 shows for the week.

Since the OFF BROADWAY stage is smaller, we will only be accepting 20 enrolments per workshop.  Everyone enrolled in the workshop will AUTOMATICALLY receive a line or a solo in the show and the class time will be dedicated to rehearsals ONLY.  We will no longer be offering the crafts in this WORKSHOP format.  We will, of course, continue to take care of all costume, set, prop, needs.  The only thing the parent needs to provide is footwear and undergarments.  Now, don’t PANIC we are going to continue doing our REGULAR workshops. . .You can go to the WORKSHOP page of the premiere for kids web site and register there, www.premiereforkids.com or you can click HERE.

Don’t delay. . .Enroll your child today.  Cost is $100.00 per child, and ALL those enrolled are required to sell 10 tickets to the production.  Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults / $8.00 for seniors and students / $5 .00 for children under 12You can reserve a space by mailing us a check or REGISTERING ONLINE, (On Line Registration Form is at the bottom of the page).  Children must be between the ages of 7 and 17 years.  No refund will be granted to anyone who cancels less than 48 hours prior to the start of class.
